On 27 April, 2019 AmCham members were invited to a tree-planting event in the Aragatsotn region. This was a part of AmCham’s regular “Be My Guest” series where different member companies host other AmCham members for an event to promote their initiatives and projects. The Armenian Tree Project (ATP) is a Massachusetts-based non-profit organization dedicated to sustaining and improving Armenia’s biological diversity through education and re-forestry. ATP organized a tour and a lunch at their nursery in the village of Karin. Afterwards they were taken to a newly zoned plot of land to plant trees. These plants will help beautify the ATP supported newly established public park area in Ashtarak.
