IMF Technical Assistance mission on Customs Administration in Armenia

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) Technical Assistance Mission on Customs Administration from Washington DC hosted AmCham members at the IMF office in Yerevan. The aim of the meeting was to actually hear practical issues from the private sector to make a diagnostic assessment and to help businesses better address the challenges of the customs administration in Armenia.

AmCham spoke about the most vivid challenges for the business of the moment, connected with the transition to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), such as the issue with the VAT set-off, conformity assessment certifications, and customs code.
