AmCham Member Meeting on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA)

On Tuesday, July 26, 2016, AmCham held a membership meeting with the U.S. Embassy’s invited expert, Mr. Peter Ainsworth. As part of Mr. Ainsworth’s current position as the Senior Anti-Corruption Counsel, he advises the U.S. government officials, foreign governments, and representatives of multi-national organizations on anti-corruption enforcement issues. Consequently, the main topic of the presentation was the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Mr. Ainsworth considered two specific recent cases during his speech and explained the concept of FCPA along these cases.

AmCham members, around 30 participants, were greatly involved in the topic, so the Q&A session that followed the presentation was very interesting and thought-provoking, engaging every single participant in the room. AmCham is grateful to the U.S. Embassy and Mr. Ainsworth for such a remarkable meeting.
